My husband drove off halfway across the state(at least it was not across country!) and bought this thing. It's a 1976 GMC motorhome. It's 23 ft long, Birchaven model with a rear bath, The previous owner got it from her dad. Her dad used to live in it full time, but she hasn't used it in a few years and it had been sitting on the side of her house. The tires are always the sketchiest thing about vehicles that have been sitting, and these were like caveman tires, rock hard and not round. So after a short drive, he calls AAA for a tow to the local repair shop.
Fortunately for us, the local repair shop is the Cooperative Motor Works aka the GMCCoop. It's there to get a full evaluation and fixed up to a stable condition. We'll probably be doing a bit of work ourselves.
